BBC News Correspondent to facilitate Silk Road forum

The Silk Road forum, which will be held for the fourth time in Georgia, will open on October 26 with the panel discussion Trade for Future facilitated by Andrew Verity, the award-winning Economics Correspondent for BBC News, covering finance and business on BBC Radio and TV as well as reporting for Panorama.

The forum, founded by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in 2015, will host over 2000 guests from 60 world countries in Tbilisi on October 26-27. High-ranking officials and representatives of international financial institutions and businesses will participate in the two-day gathering.

The event will also host thematic sessions on trade, transport, energy, tourism, digital and financial technologies, investment opportunities and bilateral meetings.
