Bakuriani faces traffic restrictions amid FIS Freestyle, Snowboard and Freeski World Championships

During the Bakuriani 2022-23 FIS Freestyle, Snowboard, and Freeski World Championships, traffic restrictions will be imposed at the Bakuriani ski resort to give athletes and visitors unrestricted mobility.

The Mountain Trails Agency (M.T.A.) has announced that movement and parking of motor vehicles heading to Rooms and Mgzavrebi hotels would be prohibited from February 15 to February 27. From February 15 to March 5, municipal buses will take visitors to the Didveli and Kohkta ropeway stations.

Georgia will host Freestyle, Snowboard and Freeski World Championships for the first time. The tournament will take place from February 16 to March 5 in Bakuriani resort under the aegis of the International Ski Federation (FIS), with the participation of about 700 athletes from 42 countries.
