Georgia is hosting a joint “Caucasian Eagle 2022” exercise organised by Azerbaijani, Georgian, and Turkish Special Forces.

The trio have performed a demonstration training at the Vaziani training site.

The training, according to the Georgian Defense Ministry, intends to strengthen the coordination of special forces units from Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, share experience, and increase professional ability and management in a multinational environment.

The three will also share experience within fire and medical training and fighting in a populated area.

The exercises are held yearly in all three countries on a rotating basis. Turkey held the drills last year.
