Anti-Namakhvani HPP protesters to cancel activities during Easter week

Anti-Namakhvani HPP protesters will cancel the activities during Easter week, one of the protesters, Maka Suladze, briefed Georgian First Channel on Monday.

“Since most of the protesters are Orthodox parishes, no activities are planned,” Suladze noted.

“Unless the government creates provocative actions that we will respond to,” Suladze added.

The protest against Namakhvani HPP construction has been underway in western Georgia for 182 days.
