Amnesty international calls on Russia and de facto authorities to ensure impartial investigation into Arhcil Tatunashvili’s case

Amnesty international has released a statement regarding death of Arhcil Tatunashvili, Georgian citizen in Tskhinvali and calls on Russia and the de facto authorities to ensure a thorough, prompt and impartial investigation into the death case of a Georgian detainee.

“Russia and the de facto authorities in Georgia’s disputed South Ossetia/Tskhinvali Region must ensure a thorough, prompt and impartial investigation into the death of a Georgian detainee, Archil Tatunashvili; and his body should be returned to his family as soon as possible,”says the statement.
