Ambassador Julianne Smith, the U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO, was asked if she would expect Georgia at the 2024 Washington summit.

“I can’t comment right now. I’m going to leave that because that is still under consideration, but I think there is a strong desire to find a way to include all NATO partners in the summit one way or another. So stay tuned on that.

We’re looking at a variety of different proposals and hope to have more to say on that in the days and weeks ahead,” Julianne Smith told GPB First Channel.
