All five new cases of COVID-19 are imported, four patients are truck drivers

According to Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, all five new cases of coronavirus detected in Georgia in the last 24 hours are imported.

According to her, four of them are truck drivers.

“Five new cases have been added and now we have 893 confirmed cases in Georgia. Eight more patients have recovered and we have 739 in total. All five new cases are imported, four of them are drivers of the trucks” – Ezugbaia said.

According to Marina Ezugbaia, 140 patients are currently being treated at the COVID-centers.
