I appreciate that you always find time to meet with me, and I promise I will often visit your beautiful city, your beautiful country”, – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said at the meeting with the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.

I appreciate that you always find time to meet with me, and I promise I will often visit your beautiful city, your beautiful country. Meeting with you is a great joy for me. You are well-respected person both in Georgia and throughout the Orthodox world, and not only, “- Alexander Lukashenko said.

During the meeting President of Belarus talked about the close relations between two countries. According to him, the Georgian and Belarusian people always had warm relations.

“Your Holiness, you should be sure that we will always stand beside you and will share everything. I told your president and I will tell your Prime Minister – if you see any beneficial in my country, you can be sure that we will share it with you as quickly as possible, ”  – President of Belarus said.
