Aleko Elisashvili, the Strong Georgia coalition member, stated, “Ekvtime Takaishvili and Ilia Chavchavadze may not stand before you today, but we are right about their legacy, unlike those currently in power.”

Elisashvili emphasized the need for professional politicians in Georgia.

“In our country, politics is often seen as a dirty business; however, a true politician should serve the nation. Many prioritize their own interests, but let’s remember that Niko Nikoladze was a politician and Poti Mayor, a member of Georgia’s founding assembly, or parliament at the time. Ekvtime Takaishvili served as a vice-speaker in the constituent assembly of the Parliament of Georgia, while Ilia Chavchavadze was an elected member of the Russian Imperial State Council.

We may not present multiple Takaishvilis or Chavchavadzes today, but we honour their legacy and reject the current traitors and liars in power. Just as a poisoned room needs fresh air, the Georgian political landscape requires clean, qualified professionals. We intend to present such a team today,” Elisashvili asserted.
