Ahali Party’s Gvaramia to Lelo: Stop invoking Charles Michel’s spirit with spinning plate
Nika Gvaramia, leader of the Ahali Party, criticized the call for political negotiations made by Lelo – Strong Georgia.
In a post on social media, Gvaramia wrote: “Stop invoking Charles Michel’s spirit with a spinning plate, my friends — he won’t come anyway.”
Gvaramia’s comment was a response to a statement by Lelo – Strong Georgia, which said that responsible political negotiations should begin between Georgian Dream and those opposition parties that received the support of a majority of voters in the 2024 parliamentary elections.
Earlier, on March 9, Gvaramia also stated that there would be no “Charles Michel II,” referring to the mediation process previously led by Charles Michel [former president of the European Council], and said that “it is impossible to seriously talk about any type of negotiation format with the Georgian Dream.”
