Agriculture Minister meets with Ambassador of Sovereign Order of Malta to Georgia
Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Davit Songhulashvili has held a meeting with Teodorico Nanni, the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Georgia.
During their discussions, both parties explored the future prospects for cooperation between Georgia and the Sovereign Order of Malta.
The dialogue also addressed preparatory arrangements for the Minister’s upcoming visit to his Italian counterpart, as well as potential avenues for collaboration.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Davit Songhulashvili emphasised that the realisation of joint initiatives would significantly contribute to the development of Georgia’s agricultural sector, promote modern practices, and facilitate the exchange of international expertise.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, was attended by Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Holy See and the Sovereign Order of Malta, Davit Mekvabishvili; Head of the Ministry’s Department of International Relations and European Integration, Davit Chitaishvili; and other representatives of the Sovereign Order of Malta.
