Administration: Uninviting President's representative to Security Council regrettable
The President’s Administration on Wednesday said uninviting the President’s representative at yesterday’s National Security Council was “regrettable.”
“The discussed issues, including significant trends in global and regional security, and among them, the current military actions in Ukraine, the challenges facing Georgia, the ongoing processes in the occupied territories, or the threat assessment document revision, in all cases, required the presence of the President’s representative,” reads the statement.
According to the readout, “given the difficulties facing the nation, it is hard to comprehend why the representative of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the nation should be excluded from these meetings.”
