US Acting Assistant Secretary Philip Reeker will arrive in Georgia on September 7

Acting US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip T. Reeker will travel to Georgia September 7-10.

According to information released by the US Department of State, on September 6, Ambassador Reeker will stop in Munich and meet with the team at the U.S. Consulate General Munich.

From September 7-10, Ambassador Reeker will visit Tbilisi, Georgia, where he will participate in the 2019 Tbilisi International Conference.  Ambassador Reeker will join regional security experts, Georgian policymakers, civil society activists, and the business community to discuss issues affecting Georgia’s democratic progress and transatlantic aspirations, and reinforce U.S. support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Ambassador Reeker will also meet with senior Georgian government officials, members of parliament, and representatives of civil society organizations.
