A total of 672 schools across Georgia are fully on remote learning mode. The 5,8% of teachers and 2,1% of pupils tested positive on coronavirus for the last week, Georgian Ministry of Education and Science reported.
According to the Ministry, 146 risk-group teachers chose to teach remotely. As of February 5, 73, 6% of teachers and school administration staff is vaccinated.
At the decision of Minister of Education and Science, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, parents have the opportunity to choose between in-face or remote learning forms.
