40 people injured by pyrotechnics, 131 patients poisoned by food on New Year's night

On New Year’s night, the First Medical Aid in Tbilisi received 33 calls, among them 20 citizens were hospitalized, the Emergency Response Coordination and Urgent Assistance Centre told the GPB’s First Channel.

Twenty-five calls were received from other cities and regions with 20 cases of hospitalization. The center was notified about 208 cases of alcohol consumption in Tbilisi with 64 individuals hospitalized, while 110 cases of alcohol and food intoxication were observed from across the regions with 67 patients hospitalized.
