MP Sarjveladze echoes Feygin's urge for rally, saying it lacks support in Georgia

Mikheil Sarjveladze, Chairman of the Parliament’s Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, on Tuesday, remarked on the statement by Mark Feygin, the Russian blogger and human rights defender, urging for global protests in support of jailed ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.

GD MP Sarjveladze believes “they have the right to protest, but this is not the right approach, “adding that “they announce a rally outside of Georgia which lacks support in Georgia anyway.”

Earlier today, Mark Feygin announced the rally #SaveMisha on 4 January 2023, calling on those leaving outside Georgia to gather at the Georgian embassies at 12:00 local time.
