Tamar Khulordava: Relations between Georgia and EU are becoming more dynamic

Relations between Georgia and the EU are becoming more dynamic, –  Tamar Khulordava, Chair of the EU Integration Committee said at the joint meeting of the Government Commission on EU Integration and the State Commission on NATO Integration.

According to her, there are great achievements on the way to relations with the EU, especially in 2018.

The EU-Georgia Council will soon be held in Brussels, where Georgia is represented by Prime Minister and Government members. This meeting will be very important as one of the next steps that will further support Georgia’s integration into the EU. European integration remains the main priority for us” – Tamar Khulordava said.

The joint meeting of the Government Commission on EU Integration and the State Commission on NATO Integration, chaired by the Prime Minister, discussed eight issues from the meeting agenda. Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani presented an annual progress report on the 2018 National Action Plan for the Implementation of the Association Agenda and DCFTA. The meeting also approved the 2019 National Action Plan for the Implementation of the Association Agenda and discussed events to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership.
