Ministry of Energy announced the Expression of Interest on the technical and economic feasibility study, construction, ownership and operation of  Khani 2 HPP

The Ministry of Energy of Georgia announced the Expression of Interest on the technical and economic feasibility study, construction, ownership and operation of the “Khani 2 HPP” on the river Laishura in the Imereti Region, Baghdati Municipality. The Expression of Interest was announced due to Letter of Interest from the company „BESTRENT” and company „CREDINVEST”.

The installed capacity of the “Khani 2 HPP” is 4.0 MW and annual generation is 18,1  million KW/h. The estimated investment cost of the project is 10,107,460 US Dollars. The interested parties shall submit applications for project development in accordance to the terms and conditions of the Expression of Interest to the Ministry of Energy of Georgia (Sanapiro str. 2) no later than 18:00 on 30 November 2017.
