Giorgi Gakharia: We expect that cooperation, transformed into Georgia's highest compatibility with NATO, finally be translated into real results
Cooperation between NATO and Georgia is becoming increasingly important in the context of Black Sea security, – Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia made this statement at a joint press conference with NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller.
The Prime Minister thanked Rose Gottemoeller for unwavering support and friendship.
“This is very important, as Georgia’s full integration into NATO is our citizens’ choice and we must do our utmost to achieve this goal through efficient cooperation”, – Giorgi Gakharia said.
According to the Prime Minister, important discussions were held within NATO-Georgia Commission format during which Georgia’s success and achievements in democratization and defense capabilities were positively appraised.
As Giorgi Gakharia notes the fulfillment of received recommendations will become a future goal.
“We expect that the cooperation, which has been transformed into Georgia’s highest compatibility with NATO forces, will finally be translated into real results”, – Prime Minister said.
