Georgia reported 396 coronavirus cases, 469 recoveries, and 19 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 170 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 59 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 41 cases.
A total of 18 015 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 11 021 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 6 994 were PCR tests.
As of today, the test-positivity rate stands at 2, 2%, while 2, 4% over the past 7 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 268 097, among them 261 066 people recovered and 3 425 died.
There are 281 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1 769 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 228 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
