George Kent – International community will never recognize division line as border

“The world has not forgotten what happened and the international community will never recognize a division line as a border,” George Kent, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State stated at the occupational line with invaded South Ossetia.

Kent once again called on the Russian government for the fulfillment of 2008 ceasefire agreement. “Ten years passed after the occupation of Georgia’s territories by Russia. I came here to remind the Georgian people that the US stands with them. . .  These regions are parts of Georgia. We are concerned about the constant abduction of Georgian citizens, their inhuman treatment and deaths,” Kent said.
