Zaza Gabunia elected as Chairman of Self-Governance Committee

Zaza Gabunia was elected as Chairman of Self-Governance Parliamentary Committee during the last extraordinary sitting of the parliament for 2017.

The 80 MPs unanimously voted for Gabunia’s candidacy on the post. The opposition did not attend the sitting.

The post became vacant after Grigol Liluashvili was appointed as Deputy Head of State Security Service.
