WWII veterans to receive 600 GEL

The Veterans of World War II will receive 600 GEL as monetary assistance. The Social Maintenance Agency of Ministry of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs will distribute the financial assistance in the regions, Tbilisi City Hall – in Tbilisi. The order was issued by Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze.

Issuance of the monetary assistance will be carried out within the framework of the activity dedicated to the 74th Anniversary of Victory over Fascism on May 9.

There are 300 WWII veterans registered in the regions, while 190 – in Tbilisi. The 209 people, who lost their family member in the war, will receive 300 GEL.
