WWII veterans to be awarded with medals

All World War II veterans will be awarded with jubilee medals in connection with the 75^th anniversary of Victory Day over Fascism at the order of the Georgian government.

Also, World War II veterans will receive 600 GEL as onetime financial assistance based on May 6 order of the Georgian government, while family members of WWII veterans – 300 GEL.

The decision was made in connection with the 75^th anniversary of Victory Day over Fascism.

The financial aid across Tbilisi will be distributed by Tbilisi City Hall, while in regions – Social Service Agency.
