Works for arrangement of park across Dighomi meadows to begin in 2019

Works for the arrangement of a park across Dighomi meadows will begin in 2019. The cost of the project is 11 620 192 GEL and it will be carried out in 2 years – Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor said during the presentation of large-scale projects of 2019.
Tbilisi Mayor said that arrangement of parks was one of the priorities as per the Tbilisi General Plan. Kaladze said that some regulations had already been imposed to improve the situation with respect to ecology in the city.
“Not a single permit has been issued at the expense of arrangement of green space of sports fields,” Kaladze stated. Tbilisi Mayor added that Dighomi Park would have a multifunctional infrastructure, sports squares, facilities for children and cafes.
