WHO COVID envoy says if gov'ts do not build up required infrastructure, Europe will face 3rd wave of pandemic in early 2021
A World Health Organization (WHO) special COVID-19 envoy David Nabarro says if governments do not build up the required infrastructure, Europe will face a third wave of the pandemic in early 2021.
Nabarro noted that “Europe’s reaction was incomplete.”
“They missed building up the necessary infrastructure during the summer months after they brought the first wave under the control. Now we have the second wave. If they don’t build the necessary infrastructure, we’ll have a third wave early next year,” said Nabarro.
