Weightlifters Irakli Chkheidze, Lasha Talakhadze to compete at Paris Olympics

Two members of the Georgian weightlifting team, Irakli Chkheidze and Lasha Talakhadze will compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Saturday.

Irakli Chkheidze, a Georgian weightlifter competing in the 102 kg division won Bronze Medal at the 2019 European Weightlifting Championship.

Lasha Talakhadze, 30, is a two-time Olympic champion, seven-time world champion, and seven-time European champion competing in the super-heavyweight category.
