The National Environment Agency projects rain in Western Georgia, snow in the highlands, and fog from February 17 to 19 February. The eastern Georgia will see mostly snow in coming days.

According to the agency, the intensive melting of snow in mountainous regions, along with the predicted heavy rains on Western Georgia’s rivers, may cause a significant increase in water levels, floods on small rivers, and the initiation and activation of landslides in hilly areas.
