Restrictions on certain road sections in Georgia

Due to bad weather conditions, there are restrictions on certain road sections throughout Georgia. The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure has announced prohibitions on the movement of trailers, semi-trailers, and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats on specific highways due to intense snow and ice.

The affected routes include the internationally important Khashuri-Akhaltsikhe-Vale and Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda highways, as well as the national highway Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestafoni. Additionally, on the section of the national highway Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdil, the movement of trailers, semi-trailers, and buses is prohibited, and light vehicle traffic is allowed with anti-skid chains.
