Cold weather is expected in Georgia on April 12-13 as the air temperature will drop significantly, the National Environment Agency reported on Sunday.

The agency forecasts rain, wind, and 4-5 magnitude storm at sea, while snow in mountainous areas.

It added that expected heavy rainfall might trigger a significant increase in water levels on the rivers, floods on small rivers, and the avalanche hazard, landslide processes in the mountainous areas.
