From March 15 till March 18, the weather will worsen as cold air masses are expected to spread throughout Georgia, according to the National Environmental Agency.
The agency says the forecast calls for rain, fog and snowstorm. Snow is expected in high mountains, and 4-5 degree storms at sea.
“The expected heavy rainfall on the rivers of western Georgia can significantly increase the water level and cause avalanches in the mountainous areas, as well as trigger landslides,” the National Environment Agency said in a statement.
