Weather alert: Heavy rain, hail, and strong winds forecasted across Eastern Georgia for July 2-4
According to the National Environmental Agency, most regions of Eastern Georgia are anticipated to experience rainfall from late evening on July 2 through the second half of July 4. The forecast includes heavy rain, thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds in certain areas.
“The expected precipitation may trigger flash floods in small rivers across Eastern Georgia, and in hilly and mountainous regions, there is a risk of landslides and sandstorm activity (medium danger level),” the agency warns.
