We should do whatever we can to support those who suffer, who fight for freedom, Gen/Dir of Czech Public Broadcaster says

Petr Dvořák, Director-General of the Czech Public Broadcaster and Vice-President of the EBU, echoed the charity marathon ‘We for Ukraine’ which the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) will live broadcast tonight in support of the Ukrainian people.

“Hello Georgia! Good evening from Prague. I would like to thank you all who try to help Ukrainian people. It is very important, especially now, and without any doubt, now is the moment when we should stay united, no matter the country we are living in. Now is the time when we should do whatever we can to support those who suffer, who fight for the freedom, who fight for the lives. Thank you all! And let’s stay together,” Petr Dvořák said.

GPB First Channel, together with the Red Cross, will hold a charity marathon ‘We for Ukraine’ to express support to the Ukrainian people and solidarity with Ukrainian Public Broadcaster.

GPB First Channel will provide a live broadcast of the event on March 1 at 10 pm.

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) members initiated the said event.
