Water level of rivers increased significantly in Western Georgia

According to the National Environmental Agency, the water level of the rivers  has been increased significantly in Western Georgia, particularly in Rioni river basin. According to the Agency, it is caused by strong sediments.

“The increase of the water level will last until March 6. The reaching of the water to the alarming level is expected.

Water level will be gradually decreased from the second half of March 6, ” – the National Environmental Agency reports.
