According to Zurab Chkhaidze, Clinical Director of Vivamedi Clinic, the founder of Netgazeti and Batumelebi media outlets, Mzia Amaglobeli, has been receiving nutritional rehabilitation treatment following medical guidelines, and her health condition is currently satisfactory.

He stated that Mzia Amaglobeli is requesting to be discharged from the hospital.

According to Zurab Chkhaidze, they will provide appropriate recommendations, which will continue to be implemented at the penitentiary facility.

“The patient has been undergoing a nutritional rehabilitation course according to existing guidelines. Her condition is satisfactory, and the course has proceeded without complications. The patient herself is requesting discharge from the hospital today. We explained to her about potential complications, but she remained firm in her position and requested discharge. We will issue appropriate recommendations, which will continue at the penitentiary facility. Her condition is stable at this stage, and laboratory test results are also satisfactory,” stated Zurab Chkhaidze.

The founder of Batumelebi and Netgazeti media outlets, Mzia Amaglobeli, was hospitalized on February 4. On February 18, she announced in a letter that she decided to end her 38-day-long hunger strike. Mzia Amaglobeli, who was detained on charges of attacking a police officer, was sentenced to pre-trial detention by the Batumi City Court on January 14.
