Vice Speaker Tsilosani: Nanuka Zhorzholiani is trying to curry favour with her master with "innovative" ideas; UNM is party in terminal decline
“Nanuka Zhorzholiani is trying to curry favour with her master by pitching ‘innovative’ ideas. That is probably exactly why she got promoted,” Vice-Speaker of Parliament Nino Tsilosani has stated.
According to Tsilosani, the United National Movement (UNM) is a party in terminal decline, adding that “far from any decent young person joining, no sane person would join them at all.”
“It is nothing new that the United National Movement has a completely unhinged leader in Mikheil Saakashvili, but now we see women fighting among themselves, posturing to win his favour and secure a cosy spot. This is the biggest tragedy. Nanuka Zhorzholiani and Tina Bokuchava are attacking each other, only to make excuses later, to flatter Saakashvili and somehow earn the top spot. The fact that Nanuka Zhorzholiani has been put forward, and that the master himself is considering her for UNM chairperson, clearly shows that the United National Movement is just one big show requiring a cheap showman like Nanuka Zhorzholiani.
The fact remains that Nanuka Zhorzholiani is trying to please her master with ‘innovative’ ideas. That is likely why she was advanced. I doubt any of her opinions have any meaningful or well-reasoned basis. This is proven by the fact that rebranding the UNM with fresh faces and youth is absolute nonsense. The UNM is a party in terminal decline that no decent youth, indeed, no sane person, would ever join. The only thing keeping the UNM afloat today is their fundamentalist base, who cannot break free from a reality of violence and are essentially infatuated with their master, Saakashvili, out of Stockholm syndrome,” Tsilosani stated.
