Verkhovna Rada Chair: Glad that small misunderstandings between Ukraine, Georgia over

The Chairman of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, Wednesday said to be “very glad that the small misunderstandings between Ukraine and Georgia are over” as “Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili has confirmed his readiness to visit Ukraine.”

Ruslan Stefanchuk believes “this visit will let the parliamentarians of Georgia to see with their own eyes what is happening in Ukraine and will confirm our friendly relations!”

Earlier today, Speaker Papuashvili confirmed his readiness to leave for Ukraine on invitation from Ruslan Stefanchuk.

“I would like to reiterate that supporting Ukraine and the Ukrainian people is our moral and historic duty, and we will honour and fulfil this duty,” he stated.
