Vasil Maghlaperidze re-elected as Chairman of GPB Board of Trustees

In today’s meeting of the Georgian Public Broadcaster’s Board of Trustees, Vasil Maghlaperidze was re-elected as Chairman for a second three-year term, garnering the majority of votes cast.

Eight members supported Maghlaperidze’s candidacy, while three opposed it, with all 11 members present at the meeting.

No alternative candidates were nominated for the position of Chairman.

The Chairman is elected by a majority of the Board’s entire membership. Maghlaperidze first took on this role on April 21, 2022.
