Vashadze calls on For Georgia to withdraw electoral lists
Giorgi Vashadze, member of the Unity-National Movement, has called on Gakharia-For Georgia party to renounce their parliamentary mandates and withdraw their electoral lists. Vashadze emphasized that failing to do so would be “an incomprehensible process that will end badly for any political force.”
“You must give up the mandate and remove the lists when the procedural moment arrives,” Vashadze stated. He criticized leaving open the possibility of individuals entering parliament later, calling it an unreliable and collaborative approach. “If you are with the people, you must give up the mandate and remove the lists entirely. Any other path is a game and collaboration with the Russian regime,” he added.
When asked about consultations with Gakharia’s team, Vashadze confirmed indirect communication, stating, “They are in touch from afar, and we are in touch in the same way.”
