Former Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili announced mass protest rallies to change the government into a pro-Western, pro-Ukrainian one.

Merabishvili expressed his hope that the Georgian society would back their idea during the debate on the worldwide effort, SAVE MISHA, at the Ukrinform media center.

“We are going to start mass protests and I am sure that the Georgian society will support us. Our main goal is to change the government and bring a pro-Western, pro-Ukrainian government so that Ukraine is not alone because we are practically allies.

We should be together and celebrate together not only the victory over Russia but also the accession to the European Union and NATO. I am sure this spring and summer will undoubtedly be quite interesting in terms of resolving Georgia’s issues “, he stated.
