“There are doubts on Akhmed Chatayev being among those killed during the special operation conducted in Tbilisi, but no precise information is available yet, we can confirm that when the examination is completed”, – Georgia’s State Security Service Head Vakhtang Gomelauri has told reporters.

“I cannot talk about the new details, but I can tell you that our strategic partners have been already involved in the process, the American side, and the relevant services. They have more experienced specialists in terms of  expertise as well as investigative activities and we jointly conduct investigation.

There are doubts on Akhmed Chatayev being among those killed during the special operation conducted in Tbilisi, but no precise information is available yet, as examination is still underway. Details will be known once the procedure is completed, – Vakhtang Gomelauri said.

The special operation was conducted at Monk Gabriel Salosi Street in Tbilisi on November 22.

One officer of State Security Service died, 2 Special Squad officers and 2 MIA employees were wounded during the special operation. The health condition of officers is stable.

One detained and three were killed as a result of operation.
