USS Donald Cook flies low past Russian SU-24 in Black Sea
The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) operating in international waters in the Black Sea passed near Russian SU-24, the US Naval Forces Europe-Africa/US 6th Fleet tweeted on Monday.
The US Navy routinely operates in the Black Sea to reassure NATO allies and partners and ensure security and stability in the region, the US Naval Forces added.
