USAID Deputy Administrator thanks PM for Georgia’s support to Ukraine

Isabel Coleman, Deputy Administrator for Policy and Programs at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) expressed gratitude to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili for a meaningful discussion on Georgia’s support to Ukraine.

“Honored to be in Georgia to reaffirm USAID’s solidarity with partners and allies who stand in opposition to Russia’s brutal war in Ukraine. Thank you, Prime Minister, for a meaningful discussion on Georgia’s support for Ukraine and its own democratic future,” she tweeted.

Georgian PM Irakli Gharibashvili met Isabel Coleman, Deputy Administrator for Policy and Programs at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on March 23.

Among other issues, the meeting focused on the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine and the difficult security situation in the region.
