The Visa Bond Program has been made permanent in all operating countries, including Georgia, according to a statement by the US Embassy in Georgia.

According to the Embassy, all applicants holding Georgian citizenship who are approved for a B1/B2 visa must pay a bond amounting to $10,000, $15,000, or $20,000.

“Do not pay the bond in advance. During the interview, the consular officer will provide instructions regarding the bond payment. Please remember: the official source for visa applications is the United States Government.
