US Ambassador: There is team of experts who can better assess Mr. Saakashvili’s condition

US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan hopes “everyone will defer to medical experts who are qualified to assess his [Mikheil Saakashvili] condition and to ensure that he receives the medical care that he needs.”

“I would have to defer to the medical experts on this. I think there is a team of experts, including those who were organized under the public defender, multi-disciplinary medical professionals who can better assess Mr. Saakashvili’s condition, both in terms of what he needs to recover and his stability of his condition,” Kelly Degnan stated.
