UNM’s Tsitlidze: Saakashvili needs AI avatar to reach citizens; UNM maintains daily written contact

“Mikheil Saakashvili clarified that modern technology allows him to maintain greater communication with Georgian citizens,” declared United National Movement member Ana Tsitlidze.

According to Tsitlidze, Mikheil Saakashvili, whose communication with Georgian citizens is being restricted while he is kept locked away in prison, possesses the technical means to speak to the public.

“It will be a very welcome move for President Saakashvili to make use of any such opportunity. Mikheil Saakashvili, who is being restricted from communicating with Georgian citizens and kept locked in prison, fortunately has the technical capabilities to use this to speak with citizens, and it represents a fantastic opportunity. As for using it within the party, we do not need it there, as we already maintain daily written communication with Mikheil Saakashvili,” stated Ana Tsitlidze.

For context, former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili declared during his court hearing on July 29: “If you lock me away entirely and keep me out of public view, no matter: an AI avatar of me is already in preparation. It looks better than I do, but it is me.”
