“When international partners directly tell you that no elections exist in this country, when the majority of Georgian citizens tell you not to participate in a Russian special operation, it’s incomprehensible why one would sign their own capitulation?” said United National Movement member Ana Tsitlidze
According to Tsitlidze, the UNM’s main statement is non-cooperation with the regime.
“Non-cooperation with the regime means not following Bidzina Ivanishvili into the game rules he sets himself. Therefore, we remain loyal to this decision and believe that anyone who decides to participate in this Russian special operation will inevitably face consequences, including from their own voters and political circles.
When our international partners directly tell you that elections don’t exist in this country, when the majority of Georgian citizens – over 80% according to polls – tell you not to participate in a Russian special operation, when our partners who only want good for us tell you this is a plunge into the abyss, it’s incomprehensible why one would sign their own capitulation?” Tsitlidze stated.
