Jailed former president Mikheil Saakashvili’s relocation overseas [for medical reasons] is the United National Movement’s top priority, according to party member Dimitri Shashkini, who also pledged that “we would spare no effort together with our foreign friends to make this happen.”

Shashikini claims that the Georgian people want the government to fulfill the 12 conditions set forth by the European Commission.

“De-radicalization, which entails sending Mikheil Saakashvili overseas, is one of the points. Like in all other normal countries, the people have two options: either the government satisfies their demands, or they change the government. This is a normal democratic model and a normal democratic process “, he remarked.
