UNM's Khabeishvili: GD rally participants appeared to be under drug control
Levan Khabeishvili, the United National Movement member commented on the participants at Wednesday’s Georgian Dream election gathering during a broadcast on Pirveli TV.
“From what I saw on television, none of these people were sober; they were presumably under narcotics control,” Khabeishvili stated.
“We live in a small country and we know people’s attitudes. For example, we can see the changed moods of people in our specific residential areas, apartment buildings, and entrances. Bidzina Ivanishvili operates using Russian methods. For 12 years, ordinary supporters of the National Movement have been under pressure – raids, confrontations, physical retaliation. Among others, they retaliated against Levan Gogichaishvili yesterday, and I deeply regret this. I responded to this on social media and want to express my solidarity. But we also saw those dejected people. I don’t want to insult anyone, but it’s written on their faces that they’re under drug control. From what I watched on television, none of these people were sober; they were presumably under narcotics control. This is the kind of criminal, rotten system that Ivanishvili stands on. Therefore, don’t be afraid of anything when it comes to your children’s future,” stated Levan Khabeishvili.
