UNM's Bokuchava: EU's report critical, 'Russian Dream' reads everything backward
The United National Movement (UNM) member, Tina Bokuchava, remarked on the European Union’s recent report on human rights and democracy, saying “Georgia has a solid human rights framework, including legislations and policies in line with international and European standards. However, implementation should be strengthened in several areas.”
Bokuchava believes “the report is really highly critical and severe, mentioning that there are major difficulties in the judicial system, particularly in terms of corruption and institutional independence.”
She added that the “Russian Dream [GD] reads everything backward, and the report is not an exception.”
